"Baird Gives Back"

Theresa took part in the annual Heart Telethon for the American Heart Association. She was able to answer phones and take donations on behalf of the organization. Theresa attended the MVHS Cancer Survivors Day brunch held at the Roselawn. She was asked to attend by the trustees who funded the new MVHS Cancer Survivorship and Wellness Program in memory of a "Remarkable Man” on their behalf. It was a wonderful event filled with heartwarming stories and the new wellness program for cancer patients was announced!

Here's a fun picture from the Utica Chamber of Commerce after hours event hosted at the Utica Zoo. The next after hours event will be hosted here at the Utica Baird Office in September, unfortunately though without the animal scooters!

The Flemma Group was able to be a participating sponsor in this year's Rescue Mission Golf Tournament held at Twin Ponds. The Rescue Mission of Utica serves individuals overcoming homelessness, abuse, addictions, and disabilities. Programs provide safe lodging, food, clothing, case management, counseling, advocacy, education, referrals, spiritual, and other supportive services.

Along with the entire Baird Utica office, The Flemma Group participated in Go Red for Women Day 2023. The Go Red for Women Movement encourages awareness of the issue of women and heart disease, and also action to save more lives.

For "Baird Cares" week in 2023, the Flemma Team assisted at The Utica Zoo! We helped in an array of spring cleaning activites such as cleaning up the walkways, picking up litter from around the park and weeding around multiple exhibits throughout the Zoo. We were glad to work along side members of the Sheridan Team and George Team. The Flemma Team has been happy to help with the Utica Zoo in many efforts over the years.
